Summary
Sam finished cooking the mac and cheese at a quarter to nine. They were no strangers to late dinners, but they thought they might actually have an early one for once and a cozy night in afterwards before the milk incident.
It was fine, through. They still got an excellent dinner, because Sam's cooking skills were forever unmatched, plus they got another dangerous person off the street.
When they both retreated to their respective rooms after dinner, the gentle ache in his metal elbow was persisting. He popped a few painkillers, took his normal sleeping medication, and tried his best to fall asleep.
OR: Bucky's vibranium arm gets damaged. He tries to hide the pain, but he's never been good enough to hide much from Sam Wilson.
