After leaving the speedforce, Wally fears his next steps. No, literally, he’s scared of going too fast. It’d started affecting his league work until the league benched him.
In his own time, he felt the fear branch across his nervous system like Lichtenberg figures. The stench of burnt rubber called to him again.

After the events of Absolute Flash #1 Wally is captured by the rogues, who happen to be metahuman collectors. They take him to a government facility where they poke and prod and take from him until he’s one big bruise. Then they decide they’re done.
Wally think’s he’ll die here, until the white walls turn dark and he’s thrown into a building with three other people inside and nowhere to go.
This is where he was going to die. This was them essentially taking out the trash after they used his stem cells to cure diseases or something.All he could do was run.

picks up exactly where they left off!! so please read that one first!!His nose carries him like a goddamn looney tunes character to the most incredible smell in the kitchen- he refuses to admit that because of his very closed eyes and his very moving body- walking straight into the brick shithouse that is superman.
His confused noise buried in Clark’s back only seems to amuse the other omega, but he can’t accept that so he turns his head to the side and chuffs, displeased.

There was an acute sense of shame making its way through Wally’s body. He felt heat rise in his cheeks. And what kind of father, what kind of person would need to check constantly that his children were still there in the bassinet, would distrust the baby monitors, would surge awake half a dozen times in one night with a panicky feeling in his ribs that insisted they weren't really there? Not a normal one, certainly.
Or: Wally West is the fastest man alive. He's also a father now. Turns out he has a lot to learn from his twin babies. It also turns out nothing stays buried forever, no matter how much he wishes it could.
