Hyrule remembers its champions. It doesn’t quite know what to do with Reno.
He’s not a knight. He doesn’t carry a sword. He doesn’t even know what a Bokoblin is. And he’s certainly not a hero. But the Sheikah Slate wakes for him, and the towers rise all the same.
Zelda asks for his help—not because he’s strong, or chosen, or destined—but because, frankly, there’s no one else left.
He’s not the one in the prophecy. But he’s here. And, for now, that will have to be close enough.
A retelling of the events/story of BOTW, except I thought it would be funny to throw my OC Reno in there and make Zelda the companion character akin to how she was in Spirit Tracks.

Reno is a fandomless character (most of the time) and I’m excited to be doing something with him! Even if it IS through the use of fanfiction! Above all else, this is just a fun writing exercise to get me back into the swing of things because I’ve been away from it for TOO long…
