Summary
The curses weren’t common per say. Certainly more common in the Arena, if a tribute lived that long. They seemed to be a war remnant – something newer, younger families simply didn’t have. An uncommonality dying out as soon as it arrived. Lingering within a few generations, then gone.
Coriolanus Snow looked down at his daemon, his curse, and wondered if there would be a time when he was old and grey that he would never see a young person followed around by their soul.
He hoped that was a future he would see.
