Summary
This fic happens in a post season 3 canon divergence where Eve and Villanelle start working for MI6 instead of...whatever happened in season 4.
Told through the eyes of their begrudging (but also simultaneously incredibly interested) coworkers, we'll see snippets of how Eve and Villanelle are navigating their budding relationship! Summary
"You're in my house." It wasn't a question, more of a statement of general acceptance.
"Yeah, I...yes." Eve knew she was way out of her dept here, but it was also too late to turn around now, and frankly, she didn't want to. This side of Villanelle was one she hasn't seen before, and would maybe, probably, never see again.
"Why are you here, Eve?"
She would've expected a teasing tone, maybe even flirtatious, if this had been like any of their previous encounters, but Villanelle just sounds so tired.
"I'm-" Eve's breath hitches. I'm here because someone tried to kill my husband. I'm here because I was following Dasha. I'm here because I wanted to see you. "I'm here for you."
Or, an alternate version on the ending of 3x6 where Eve follows Dasha to Villanelle's home. Includes copious amounts of crying, an even larger amount of touching, average breakfast food, and that one Florence + The Machine song.

"Katherine was officially worried.
She is, usually, very good at ignoring her problems. When your kingdom is cursed and people have been blaming you for it since you were born, denial becomes a familiar sentiment. But this time, she didn't seem to be able to forget the sinking, heavy feeling in her stomach, like someone had filled it with rocks.
There was something wrong with Shelby. Katherine was sure of it. She'd only noticed that something was off after the tea party, after they'd...fought? No, it wasn't really like that. But Shelby had snapped at her, and that wasn't like her at all. In the time she's known the witch, Shelby had been nothing but sweet to her, to everyone really. The girl Katherine knew was a little awkward, sure, but she wasn't mean to people for no reason."

Athena scoops up a handful of sand, letting it slide through her fingers in a crude imitation of an hourglass. She’s been sitting on the beach — or what passes for a beach on craggy Ithaca — for the past hour, watching the waves crash against the rocks. The tide’s coming in. If she doesn’t move soon, the sea will catch her, will wash over her and drag her out into deeper, colder waters. She wouldn’t mind. She could just float for a while. Like a jellyfish, drifting and aimless, rocked to and fro by the waves. Remarkable animals, jellyfish. They have survived for eons without a brain.
It’s a comforting thought, and a terrifying one.

Soyona levels the remote towards the opposite end of the suite, and its characteristic shrill whirring soon follows. Red’s head perks up at the call, and Brooklynn watches as she trots almost mindlessly into a separate room, fear still clung to her attention.
She’s eased down by Soyona onto one of the chaises opposite the kitchen, softly squeezing Brooklynn’s shoulder in reassurance, before her attention darts to the table in front of them. Atop it sits a small metal tub, the fluorescents of the penthouse shimmering in its polished reflection, and within it several layers of ice cradle a fizzing bottle of golden champagne.
Brooklynn regards the drink with surprise, her panic fading as she watches the beads of condensation dribble down the bottle’s curves. “What’s…this?”
“A reward,” Soyona explains proudly, “for your continued loyalty. I figured a bonus to your cheque wasn’t adequate enough compensation for helping me in Senegal.”

Athena brushes off her father's punishment, goes to Odysseus, oversees their long-awaited reunion. Stays in their house after- because it's not like they'll be around forever, after all.
