Lan Zhan probably hates having Defense Against the Dark arts with him, no matter how good Professor Xiao Xingchen is. He gets lost in this train of thought is interrupted. "I hate it so much, I wish he was in Arithmancy with me…he's so intelligent, I love him so much…"

"I'm glad I still get to see him at dinner, I guess. I prefer the Ravenclaw library though it is smaller, but since he is in Slytherin, he sits there with his sister. Then at least I can be near him."
