The lowest-ranked concubine in exile at the furthest margins of the inner palace would like to respectfully disagree. In retrospect, marital beds aren’t so bad after sleeping on piles of filthy rags in a ditch for fifteen years. That spoiled little Imperial Noble Consort truly didn’t know her luck!

“...yeah.” Inada shuffled awkwardly, as if slightly apologetic of the fact, before diving into a volley of unrelated trivia. Listening patiently, Towa found the forced-lecture almost amusing now that he knew where the information originally came from.
It was probably because of this that, when Inada finished his educational monologue and began to close up, Towa decided to poke at him a little. “...hey, want to come over?”
