She couldn't quite place her finger on what was so provoking of the man. Perhaps it was his abundant wit, or his wide set shoulders. Or maybe it was the way he cuffed his sleeves when he was laser focused on a map, or the way his smile would take up his whole face the moment she entered a room. The enraptured Elizabeth fancied all this, for the conquest of her heart was complete in remaining his teaching assistant. Within her wildest fantasies, she awaited the day she embarked on a crazy adventure with the tall hunk. The type of escapade Elizabeth imagined would be filled with notions of romance and finding ethereal treasure. It would be too soon that she would learn just how nightmarish working alongside Dr. Indiana Jones could be.

When your father John Hammond invites you along to visit his new theme park, you immediately agree. Your excitement is dimmed when you see that his lawyer has invited your ex-boyfriend Ian Malcolm to come along.
