Summary
No game pissed off Amai like Class of ’09. A second-year psychology student, the characters were everything wrong with the world and Nicole was a glaring representation of everyone she hoped to help. She loved the game, but hated how real it was, and the tragically fucked-up pixels had her muttering about how much better she would do in their place as she fell asleep.
God must have been bored out of his mind, because minutes later, she was standing in front of an imposing high school in attire much too professional for a teenager. Amai connected the dots immediately: she was being told to put her money where her mouth was.
Bad news: she was objectively unqualified for this job.
Good news: she would be the best thing to happen to this shitty parody of a school either way.

Equal parts psychological and fix-it fic. Manages to grant a realistically earned happy ending to a setting and characters desperately in need of one. Interesting read with some damn-good payoff.

She's not sure why she agrees to take him.
(Okay, that's a lie. Ace's life is a goddamn tragedy and he deserved better.)
The miscalculation becomes obvious when she understands how terrible of a life simple, powerless civilians lead here. All the woman can do is rely on her wits, the vague future of this world she remembers, a parlor trick with Tarot cards and a hope for some luck.
She will take on different names and identities, cheat and lie and bargain to move Ace from Baterilla to East Blue.

Isekais where the POV character fixes everything are a dime a dozen. If you wanna read one where a lady tries to buck the trope of One Piece moms dying off like the K-T Extinction, this is for you. If you want one where someone realistically tries to just SURVIVE in an insane world instead of somehow mastering it, this is for you. And if you want one about all the struggles, joys and heartaches of parenting, this is absolutely for you. Fun, clever and heartwrenching in equal measure!
