    Jinx thought that after having gone through three fathers and one mother that she would know how to look after the kid. Turns out, however, losing parents does not equivalate to being able to take care of children.

    But hey, she was trying. So, as she followed her sister-turned-bluebelly through Zaun she was able to get started on a list of things a kid needed.

    And thus, Jinx’ failproof professional guide to (parenting) babysitting was born.

    #1 Kids eat a lot.
    #2 Kids need toys otherwise you become one.
    #3 Kids need attention.
    #4 Kids needed to be protected.
    #5 Isha liked Jinx’s hair.
    #6 Don’t call kids mean names.
    #7 Don’t slap kids in the face.
    #8 Don’t abandon said kid to fuck your pig girlfriend.

    Ok, so maybe it was more of a checklist and maybe the last three were Jinx projecting a little bit, but her knowledge of raising an ankle biter was limited to faint memories of her mom, an ex-revolutionist, and a crime lord.

    But hey! If Silco and Vander could raise Jinx how hard could babysitting Isha it be?

    The Firelights were more than just a gang of rough-and-tumble youths flying down Zaun's alleyways and Piltover's skies. They were an ideal. If any life could endure in the polluted mess that is the undercity, then every life could endure. If anything could grow out of the cracks in the rusted metal and broken concrete, then the rest of them could break through that layer, too.

    This was what Ekko lived by. This was what Ekko was willing to die by.

    But when he finds himself at the wrong place, at the wrong time, his ideals are put to the test. Anyone could grow out of the broken, jagged mess of shattered glass and dead bodies. He truly believed it.

    But could she?

    Could Jinx?

    If she could do it, so could anyone.

    He had to believe.

    Breaking the cycle is surprisingly easy. All she has to do is pull the pin.

    In one timeline, Jinx plummets toward the remnants of the Hexgates, a grenade cradled in one hand, her father’s face in the other. She expects to die when she pulls the pin.

    Far above, in a desperate last-ditch effort to save the reality he gave up paradise for, Ekko throws the Z-drive, and time shatters.

    In another timeline, Jinx wakes up in a world changed. A world not her own.

    And she’s not alone.

    OR: As Jayce and Viktor scramble to dismantle the last of the Hextech, an anomaly is created, one that drags the two of them into another dimension entirely. Ekko and Jinx get unwittingly brought along for the ride.

    In a world where Jinx, Isha and Sevika escape Stillwater before the Beast gets there and Ekko returns earlier from the alternate timeline; Jinx is convinced to become a symbol for the Revolution of Zaun.

    Ekko and Jinx (and eventually Vi) lead the Revolution of Zaun to honor those that came before them and to fight against Piltover’s ruthless ‘justice’, ready to finally not only have a seat at the table, but full-fill Vander and Silco’s dream of an independent Zaun.

    Jinx chooses to follow Silco’s dream and learns how to lead, finding a way to start healing and having hope for the future whilst still fighting in all her Jinx, chaotic glory and somehow falling in love in the chaos.

    Ekko leads right next to Jinx and finally gets what he’s always wanted. A free undercity.
