Summary
Tommy lets Buck drag him into the bedroom, chuckling giddily as he uses the grip on his tank top to pull him closer. They almost trip on their own feet, so eager to trade kisses and be close that they're barely looking where they're going.
Buck throws himself onto the mattress and Tommy hovers over him in an instant, mouth latching onto his neck as they scramble to get rid of their clothes.
It's a hard task because they can't take their hands off each other and can't bear to be apart but somehow they manage and all clothes end up in a messy pile on the floor.

Summary
Tommy had lived a hard life. Between his father, the army and his first few years at the 118 under the worst captain imaginable, he'd learnt to close himself off. But then a new captain arrived turning the house into a better place and the team into some semblance of a family. Slowly over time he began opening himself up to the possibility he could live his life on his own terms.
He began socialising with his colleagues more and eventually found the courage to come out. For the first time in his life everything was calm.
And then their new probationary firefighter Evan 'Buck' Buckley showed up and threw a spanner in the works.

Summary
Buck, visiting his parents with his sister and her family, end up leaving the house in a snowstorm after his parents prove yet again that they were incapable of change.
After finding himself at a local motel to get out of the storm, he unexpectedly finds himself spending the whole evening with the owner, who by an incredible coincidence used to work at the 118.
Before the night is over Buck’s entire world has been flipped upside down. But leaving to go back home was not going to be easy
