Summary

Everything had been going smoothly until Harry Potter checked in, fresh off a Dragon Reserve in Romania and looking drop dead gorgeous. Now, Draco and Harry are forced to confront the past and issues they both had thought were long since buried. As tension builds during the limited time they have together, Draco begins to wonder, will they ever be able to bridge the divide between them?

Summary
Harry Potter was like the sun. He shone brightly and pulled everyone into his orbit with a gravity that was difficult to escape. Being in his presence was like basking in the warmth of a ray of sunlight, the feeling of his attention almost addictive. However, Draco knew that if he allowed himself to get close to him, like those summer days where he had run wild as a child, he would be burned. Too much exposure to him caused Draco’s skin to itch just below the surface, and it caused him to lash out. If he wanted any peace of mind at all, it was better to stay as far away from him as possible.
Or: Draco realizes he's in love with Harry Potter and decides it's better to avoid him and his feelings, however Harry just won't seem to leave him alone.

Harry crosses his arms, glaring half-heartedly at the little device as if it personally betrayed him. "Probably just… residual trauma."
Draco, lounging far too comfortably in Harry's favorite seat, raises an eyebrow. "Residual trauma from what? My face?"
"From you ," Harry mutters, heat creeping up his neck. "Existing."
Ross peers between the two of them, a slow realization dawning that perhaps he's intruded on something not strictly medical. "Well, no signs of arrhythmia," he says lightly, backing away toward the floo like it might snap shut behind him. "Let us know if the beeping becomes more… frequent."
