His muscles burned, but he was determined to beat the storm to the shore. "Come on!" He yelled, frustration and panic a heavy feeling in his stomach. A huge wave crashed into the back of his boat, and he barely kept it upright. It didn't matter, though. Another wave flipped the boat over like a toddler hitting toy bricks. Surfacing was a panic, his breath coming out as pants. Treading water was rough, the already burning muscles almost screaming.

It was a habit Wild had gotten used to. The repeated motions sometimes helped to soothe an ache that lingered in his chest. Sometimes he could feel a sense of lightness take him. Bows always reminded him of the Rito, of Tulin...... of Revali. He tried to not hold to bow too firmly. He was with the other heroes of legends. And they tended to notice things that others wouldn't.

Summary
It's funny, how simple things seemed when it all started. It's funny, how he thought thing's would go. What's not funny is the gap in his memory, the lingering feeling of soft feathers, the familiar sound of an arrow hitting wood. It's not funny when he can't recall who the person is, but the memory of them sits upon him. It dances upon the wind, twirling through the breeze. Everything seems so familiar, yet his mind always traces back to that one feeling. The safety of another. Yet who that person was, his mind cannot recall. At least, their memory dances with him, the taste of something so foreign and yet something so achingly familiar.
OR Link is struggling to remember things after he woke in the Shrine of Resurrection. The feeling of someone important to him, someone he held dear, keeps haunting him. From arrows to nut cakes, the feeling of snow to a hauntingly soothing voice laced within his head. His memory is gone, but the person left an imprint within his mind that cannot be erased so easily.

But not in Lance's mind, busy imagining all the terrifying ways his leader and his... Keith could die. And Lance sort of needed them to come back with all (minus one) arms attached right now.
Or: The Blade of Marmora unwittingly plays wingman, Lance suffers a minor anxiety attack, and Keith is mildly confused when he returns to the Castle, and is immediately pounced by his crush who kisses him smack on the lips.
