    Summary

Ochako walked down the aisle with slow steps, trying to balance on her shoes. Katsuki saw her break them in the past weeks, taking them wherever she went. She never learned to walk in them properly because after an hour max, her feet had been pink and hurting and Katsuki switched his sneakers or boots with her. He might have broken them in more than her, earning dubious looks in public, but he would do it all again to make her feel better. If this was his wedding, he thought, she'd be barefoot. There wouldn't be as many people, there would be no press in the back, no big bravo. And that dress — it would be for him. If only he was the groom instead of her best man.

    -
Ochako and Katsuki go way back; stolen glances, tender kisses and a friendship that never went deeper because of their line of work, their responsibilities, or maybe fate. He'd forever regret not sealing the deal when he could. Until he attends his best friends' wedding and watches her leave Izuku at the alter. It might be too late and hope is a dangerous things, but what if their story is not over after all?

    Summary

“You won’t forget about me when you make all these shiny new college friends, right?”

He played it off as a casual question, but Kenma sensed the underlying seriousness in the almost delicate way he asked—vulnerability seeping through his voice despite the attempted nonchalant delivery.

“I couldn’t even if I tried,” he admitted as his head lay on Kuroo’s chest, the older man rubbing his back like a cat. It was intimate moments like this that made Kenma question everything, having to remind himself that they were just friends.

Kenma has depended on Kuroo all his life—to feel comfortable, to make friends, to be understood. Until he realizes that he’s gay, and that he has to go on this journey of self-discovery himself, lest his secret feelings for his straight best friend make things even harder.

So he ventures out to college on his own in an attempt to understand himself and his sexuality, and to prove to himself that he didn’t need Kuroo by his side to do it (also to tamp down his feelings for the guy, but that proves to be much more difficult).

It makes him feel freer than he thought, and it makes Kuroo feel a little sidelined. Realizations ensue.

“Where do you want me?” Akaashi asked.

The question was so straightforward, so practical, that it took Osamu a full beat to answer. His brain supplied several places that had nothing to do with onigiri, and he nearly choked on air.

“Counter,” he said at last, forcing his voice flat. “It’s delicate. Needs someone who won’t panic when there’s a line out the door. Think you can handle that?”

    “Yes.” No hesitation.

Of course not. Akaashi Keiji wasn’t built to hesitate.

    Summary

Rice Boy cooks his feelings and hugs everything that moves. Grumpy Glasses edits novels and suppresses emotions like it’s a paid skill. Somehow, they end up sharing a stray cat and one very complicated friendship that smells suspiciously like love (and salmon).
Haru, the cat in question, observes it all: the feeding schedules, the arguments, the cuddles, the moving boxes, and the inevitable proposal. He doesn’t understand humans, but he knows a slow-motion disaster when he sees one.
At least there’s good food, warm laps, and a sunroom big enough for his ego. He’ll allow it.

Or: Two humans. One cat. Zero common sense.
