"I love you," she whispered, pulling the sleeping body closer to her chest.
"I love you too. Good night." The other responded drowsily."I don't need to do that." she laughed, but even she could hear the despair in her own voice. She knew she wasn't convincing anyone with that tone.
"I want you to talk to me about it though, Vi." She argued back."I love you so much," she kissed each word into her skin. Tears flowed wild and free from the corner of her eyes. "I don't deserve you."
"But I'm still here," she whispered, hugging her tightly. Her own tears washed down the sides of her face. "I won't ever leave you. That's how much I love you."-
Caitlyn and Vi are the young newlyweds on the block. The new life isn't Vi's style, but she'll make it work for Caitlyn somehow.
