Summary
Izuku Midoriya is unlucky, to say the least and life hasn't exactly been kind. Things weren't so bad in the beginning, but once he was diagnosed quirkless, well, it all went to shit. Everyone grew to hate him, even his best friend and own father.
Was it really that impossible to become a hero without a quirk? It doesn't really matter because to Izuku, the term hero is flexible. He'll be his own hero because he's learnt from his own experience, people are selfish and the only one he can rely on is himself.
Left alone to fend for himself in the world, Izuku goes out to change things on his own terms, despite his methods being slightly illegal. Keyword, slightly. It's only illegal if he gets caught, right?

Mini Summary: After a nearby fight Midoriya’s apartment is destroyed with his mother and a majority of his belongings. This leads to him on Dagobah Beach. Bored and looking for something to do he works on cleaning up the beach and finds a knife, he spends time throwing it around and soon gets the hang of it.
Later on he ends up in a warehouse, having gained the vigilante name Chaos from an underground hero named Star. He collects a gaggle of friends/family, Himiko and Touya living with him in “His” warehouse, with Hitioshi and Mei living in their own homes. Being a vigilante Izuku naturally finds himself in trouble on multiple occasions, and finds himself around Eraserhead amongst other underground heroes.
Much later on he joins UA through a deal and is on his way to become an official hero. He, Hitoshi, Himiko, and unofficially Touya end up getting adopted by Shouta and Hizashi. Following cannon we go through the USJ, in which (This happens before the deal with UA I believe) Chaos is horrifically injured and ends up in a coma. Continuing on with cannon we follow the Sports Arc where he acts as an announcer at points, internships, the mall, the Training Camp Arc where Izuku tries to save Katsuki, but ends up being kidnapped as well. In a horrific reencounter with Muscular Izuku loses his arm and sight of one eye. The eye is never repaired and his real arm is forever lost, but he gets a fancy support prosthesis instead. The Overhaul arc is altered by having a friendly Shigaraki and a tracker Dekiru gives to Eri. It ends up as a success.
The story ends on a happier note. Izuku gets with Shoto, Touya with Keigo, and some more relationships occur in the background. It’s slightly open ended, but that works out very well for this fic and the direction points to Dekiru becoming a great hero and living a great life.
TLDR: Inko dies, homeless Izuku gets his grubby hands on a knife, and goes from suicidal vigilante to defying the odds as a kickass/insanly skilled quirkless hero with the help of found family.
Notes: This is always a delight to read. Doesn’t drop in quality as the story continues and maintains an interesting, funny, and angsty fic.

Summary
With nowhere else to go, Riley returns to the place they spent their childhood- Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. When they discover that something is very wrong with the animatronics, they're forced to take shelter in the Superstar Daycare.
Considering that their favorite hobby has always been analyzing how animatronics work and think, Riley is thrilled at the chance to get to know the Daycare Attendant. Too bad everything had to go wrong first for them to get here. At least they're safe in the daycare, right? No health and safety hazards here in the Superstar Daycare absolutely none no siree.
AKA mostly a whole lot of playing with and getting to know Sun- As long as the lights stay on, anyway.
(Not a fan of longfics? Looking for something shorter but still satisfying? Chapter 11 and chapter 32 both work as early stopping points if you wish)(This fic is now a fully completed work!)

Sun is so sweet he makes me so happy, and his characterization was absolutely perfect.
Moon was amazing too and I loved getting to see sweet details about him [i.e. Little Stars]
