Summary
Jungkook left his old life behind a long, long time ago, and he does his best to avoid returning to any part of it – especially after becoming someone he’s proud of and building a life that he loves with the person he adores. Every once in a while, though, when the offer is good enough, he’ll go back to the city for a photoshoot. This time, Taehyung goes with him. Taehyung is excited to see what Jungkook used to do and explore the city with him when the photoshoot is over, and maybe get to gush about the wonderful person Jungkook is now to the people who only knew him when he was unhappy.
He knew the people from his old life aren’t exactly warm and inviting, but he wasn’t expecting how they would really treat him.
Or: Taehyung goes on a work trip with Jungkook, and it doesn’t go very well.
