- Runs on my contingency in fics that Metanav still works even after Maruki because I’m lazy and don’t feel like trying to change canon plot progression too much with palaces. -
Akira Kurusu was getting tired of his teachers having palaces. Well, okay, maybe Maruki didn’t really count as a teacher but he still worked at Shujin. That counts in his mind. He had already begged his parents to let him stay in Tokyo for his last year of high school, but finding out that his new homeroom teacher also had a palace definitely made him want to stay more.
