Welcome to Rarepair Week 2025! This collection of ficlet shorts includes my WoL Moireigh Velaris, and her relationships that occurred in between Haurchefant during HW and Thancred during Post EW. These relationships ended up not working out for various reasons, but they were still relationships she cherished as they helped her get through difficult times, and she shared something important with each of them.
Spoilers for anything and everything in between HW and EW. Any additional warnings will be in notes.

Summary
Moireigh only asked one thing after Garlemald: that if anyone ever took control of her, those she trusted would stop her.
Years later, the Simulant gave her an ultimatum: choose between surrender and mass slaughter. She went quietly to save countless lives. What followed was her worst fear made real — a body not her own, a mind buried under undeniable commands, and the Scions at the edge of her blade. When her mind was hers again, she spent the last of Hydaelyn’s blessing to bring them back and it cost her everything.
Now drained of aether, poisoned, and betrayed, she knows the truth: they weren’t ready to stop her. Not even to save themselves. There is no going back. Only forward, into the dark she was once meant to hold back.

Warrior of Light Moireigh Velaris fights Shiva and is unfulfilled when the Primal escapes. Haurchefant Greystone of Camp Dragonhead yearns to fight with his love, and has to be held back by his men. Fire and Ice clash as she returns and they find fulfilment in one another.

FFXIVWrite 2024 is here and since I apparently wasn't busy enough I'm participating for the very first time! Most of these will probably be written down and yeeted into the world without beta because we definitely do not have time for that! Hopefully I'll be able to see the whole thing through, and hopefully you'll enjoy! Tags will be updated as I go and CWs/spoilers will be added in Notes at the start of a chapter. I'm using this to develop my WoL, Moireigh Velaris, and her journey.

Summary
Meona'hane, Moonlit Raven, is a rising star in the Arcadion's light-heavyweight division with a few wins under his belt. After a loss to the eldite fighter Silver Fangs, an encounter with her leads him to discover the world of the Arcadion in Solution Nine's nights, full of passion, lust and desire indulged fully and freely in myriad forms with whoever one desires. As he continues his climb up the ranks in the days, Meona'hane spends his nights having very different encounters indeed with his rivals.
