“What? Do I have something on my face?” Bdubs asked, feeling suddenly a little insecure with the man’s attention on him. Which was weird- Bdubs had felt many things, but insecure wasn’t typically one of them. Bdubs knew he was attractive, objectively speaking. He didn’t usually have a problem with issues like that.
Apparently, all it took was one pretty stranger on a balcony to change that.
“Not at all.” The man denied with a shake of his head, white locks following the motion. “Just.. why a horse mask?” He sounded amused.
or, Bdubs is a prince and Etho is the mysterious yet charming stranger he meets at a masquerade party. But Etho has secrets, and Bdubs is just a little too in love to think of the consequences.

Open the book.
Heart pounding, Grian paused. He turned to his side to see an alleyway next to him, dark and mysterious and looking straight out of a horror movie.
Grian. Open the book.
His body started shaking. Small tremors going through his arms, his legs. Not enough to make him fall over, but enough to be noticeably there. The back of his head began to hurt, the building up of a headache.
“Stop it.” Grian whispered, and like a light switch, everything stopped. His body stabilized, his head cleared, and Grian was going crazy.
Or, Grian finds a book that can grant all his desires, and makes a wish. But when reality starts to change and all his friends gain superpowers, Grian learns the hard way to be careful what you wish for.
