Summary
"I just wish things were different," Crowley says... and the universe happily obliges.
Stuck - perhaps forever - in a reality in which Shadwell is the first Wiccan MP, Pepper's only aspiration in life is to be a dutiful wife to someone, and his beloved Bentley is a rusty VW bus, Crowley is slowly learning that "different" doesn't necessarily mean better...
But how long can he bear to live* in a world where Aziraphale hates him?
*Not that he has any other option. The Death of this world can't see blood...

Summary
During a fight with Aziraphale, Crowley pauses time and goes back to the Bentley to sleep it off (and come up with a really great comeback). When he wakes up the next morning, it’s still Wednesday. Again. Somehow, he’s gotten them stuck in a time loop. It’s Wednesday, every day. Great. Just great.
(Aziraphale puts his book down and takes a big breath and Crowley comes to attention. “Do you ever think,” he says, and Crowley can tell he’s been thinking about this for a long time, for a whole Wednesday, at least. “Do you ever think that perhaps this is an opportunity to - to do whatever it is you wanted?”)
Set between seasons 1 and 2, canon-compliant with season 2.

“Well, that was a thing,” Crowley said once they were out of earshot. Without talking about it, they were both heading down the field, towards the lake where the photographer (and likely a few more people from the TV crew) was waiting.
“That was a wedding,” Aziraphale replied, surprised at his own annoyance that somebody called a wedding a ‘thing’.
“Yeah, obviously, didn’t miss that part,” Crowley said with a shrug, and waved abruptly in Aziraphale’s general direction. “Neither did you, from the looks of it, since you’re dressed like a wedding bride and everything.”
“Excuse me, I am a—“ Aziraphale stopped himself, and started over.

Summary
A beaten-down Aziraphale opens a bakery in the small town of Tadfield, where he finds an all-night greasy spoon and one fallen Crowley, who is making amends through various and increasingly ridiculous means of community service. Features an inexperienced!Aziraphale, Crowley the town ne’er-do-well, and Crowley’s self-appointed protector, young Adam. Human AU.
All quotations are from Richard Siken’s earth-shattering collections of poetry, Crush and War of the Foxes.
cw/tw: brief mentions of fatphobia; homophobia; religious oppression; miscarriage; self-hatred; background character death; drug addiction; foster care; past animal abuse… all referenced and not actively happening in the story, but sad beginnings that are addressed in order to make room for happy endings.
