'Change. Although I always aim to look on the bright side, change was something I've never been fond of. Change always haunted me, whenever there was something good in my life, there was also the fear of it ending. I close my eyes and repeat to myself; this is good change, this is good change. Opening my eyes, I take my first step onto the high school grounds. I forced myself to think positive, and it worked. A smile plastered my face as I walked through the halls of my new school. It was stunning really, definitely one of the prettier schools in France, But my eyes were focused on my surroundings and, before I knew it, I felt my body start to fall. I hate shoelaces; My last thought as I prepared to hit the floor, but I never did. Instead, I felt relief as I realized someone caught me. I stood up straight and looked into the eyes of my saviour. They were gray.'
