Summary

When a deep-space anomaly forces them to abandon ship in an escape pod together, the two must rely on each other for survival. As days stretch into weeks, they share stories of their past—Travis opening up about life on a cargo ship and Archer revealing the pressures of command. Through the isolation, an unspoken connection forms.
Back on Enterprise, the distance between them feels more pronounced than ever. Archer finds himself drawn to Travis in ways he can’t explain—or refuses to acknowledge. Meanwhile, Travis struggles with the weight of his own feelings for his captain, knowing that crossing that line could mean everything or nothing at all.
