Summary

They also stir their teacups for four and a half clockwise rotations, place their left elbow seven-eighths down the way of the arm rest, and sniffled pointedly, which roughly translates to: "This tea is over-steeped and bland, your furniture is both uncomfortable and horrifically tasteless, and you're a twit of a host."
And I think that's beautiful.

As Pippin and Aragorn sat in silence beside the dying fire, Aragorn simply observed the hobbit next to him.
His trembling hands, one clutching his cloak securely around him as the other was held out towards the source of warmth, the unsteady rise and fall of his chest as his breaths came out in shakey little huffs, and most concerning to Aragorn, the dark circles lingering underneath his eyes.
The ranger sighed.
OR
Pippin is struggling with the weight of the quest and Aragorn is there to help hold the young hobbit together.
