Kintsugi (金継ぎ) - The Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with gold lacquer. The cracks are highlighted as part of the piece's history, rather than a flaw to hide.
A series of fics in the same continuity, following post-TotK Link, King Consort and the Sage of Time; his ward Midori, the should-have-been Hero of the Depths; and a dead god in a mask.
Shards of the Hero and Unbroken can be read as standalone fics. While Link (Sage) and Midori appear in Unbroken, you'll learn about them as the Chain does.

Wild gets hurt, badly, and Hyrule taps into a power he hadn't been interested in using ever again. Except, Wild's been dead before, and the consequences of bringing him back again combined with Hyrule's own determination to see him healed are more than any of them know how handle.
