Minerva McGonagall was a woman with a mission. A stupid, dangerous, brave and without a destination mission.
And that mission, was to get herself a boyfriend. She needed someone that could mentally challenge her so half of her Housemates were already falling out. Someone that would have time for them, for each other, so no crazy but illegibly hot Ravenclaw for her. Someone that won't cower at the sight of her and try to stop her for being who she was, so no gentle Hufflepuff either.
So now, with just the house of snakes available, what better boyfriend could she get then Tom Riddle? He was the smartest student in the school, almost as good as her at Transfiguration and someone that surely won't cower at anything. He wasn't that big of a fan at Quidditch by the looks of it but Minerva could deal with this just fine.
Now. How will she make him fall in love with her? Well, she was up for a challenge.

Staring for a long time in the cage darkness Draco froze when a pair of striking golden eyes stared back at him. For a brief, stupid moment he thought that the eyes should have been green.
Draco breath hitched in his throat when slowly, a big, rough looking cat stalked forward before it stopped right in front of him. It bones were sticking out of it's body, fur patched with bald spots and irritation. It's ears flicked up, one of them looking punctured.
''I live in a house with awful people. It's filled with monsters and I'm sorry I will bring you in such a place.'' The cat whined, it's big head pushing itself in Draco palm letting a grumble and huff.
''-Do you think that I-I want to bring anyone, anything there? For Him to see you? So he could what?!'' he laughed, bitter and a little hysterical, slamming his lips together when the cat headbutted him gently
Draco flinched when it moved his head gently, from his face down his neck and chest, sticking it's body that even starved looked enormous beside his own. The gentle caress from his now Familiar made him gasp a trembling breath before he lifted his arms and wrapped them around the animal head.

40k words of the most original Harry Potter fanfic I have ever read. It was that original, creative and it captivated me so much that I made my first ever Bookmark.
Reading about a story that most surely, almost all Harry Potter fans had in mind at a point or another but didn't have enough balls to write it was purely fabulous. The new ideas, the added lineages, the characters, God the characters!
We get husbands, a vampire old as time and a chinese character, Dumbledore losing his fights from the very beginning without all the drama and the characters actually acting like adults. The generations from Riddle Era is captivating to watch as well, ideas mixing with one another without making a huge exaggeration about everything. Very secretly, I'm wishing Marzan ( bruh the name change❤️) to end up with Alphard but I also wish to see that happy ending build up at your own pace.
It has an even pace and a time skip put at just the right moment, deep Slytherin friendships and 'Voldemort' who cried ( the right people will get it), we also have a very balanced character in Marzan who is not too OP and not to propously weak either, who isn't always scheming and full of angst and isn't OCC in becoming good.
I suggest immediate subscription and I can't wait for this story to blow up with hits, kudos and comments.From the moment I read the summary, I know that this story, unfinished or not was so so so worth it. Which also means I waited all night to read it cause the best stories are read at 1 in the fucking morning
