Summary
After an argument with Blitzo about his over protectiveness, Loona decides to take the book and go do a job on her own to prove herself. Only she messes up and now is trapped with a bunch of other captured demons and angels who are prisoners to a cult seeking to use them to gain power for themselves. Her cellmate is a Cherub Angel named Collin who has been here for two months already.
Facing torture, suffering, and maybe even death, Loona tries to hold on to hope that she'll have a means to escape and return home. She's not alone, however. Collin, despite their differences, reaches out to her and helps her stay strong as the two become each other's lifeline in this dark place where hope is fleeting, but never gone.
