Summary
Midoriya Izuku had always been different from other kids, especially after being diagnosed as quirkless.
After an incident with a hero, his mother is killed and his world turns on its head. Left without a family, Izuku must learn how to take care of himself and rebuild his dreams from the dust left in his mother's wake.
Unable to let go of his love for heroes, he decides to do whatever it takes to help them. The good ones, at least.
From an Empty Dream, maybe one day his heroic spirit will be lit again.

It's not All Might who saves Izuku from the slime villain, but rather a certain cotton tailed heroine. She has a much different approach then the #1, and decides that the trembling beanstalk of a kid has enough guts to go pro. Ft. Confident! Izuku, Parental! Mirko, and enough sass to make my eyes bleed.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
