Summary
I wrote this with the intention or rewriting the hug scene in act 2, not because I dislike it but because my character would simply act differently :'). Please heed warnings, this fic does contain references to some pretty heavy topics. And of course for minor spoiler's to some of Astarion's character arc so I don't recommend reading until you've gotten to moonrise towers in act 2.

Summary
“I don’t need anything- there’s nothing wrong with me! I’m fine!” He’s shouting now.
Hancock takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. When he opens them he says, “You can’t keep going like this, you’re gonna destroy yourself.”
Nate laughs harshly, there’s no joy in the sound. “Who cares! Who fucking cares what-“
“I care, asshole!” Hancock cuts him off.

Summary
She wants to go to the beach. Stares longingly at pre-war advertisements, at golden age illustrations of pretty girls in bathing suits, at children holding ice creams, the fruit flavors melting down their hands as they leave footprints in the sand.
The last time Charon went to a beach he still had all his skin and the world reeked far less of radiation.
But— his girl wants to go. So they go.

Point Lookout, if it were just a post-war beach town.

Summary
She was just so goddamn tired. Tired of dragging you away from high places, tired of pulling you out of the way of ferals, raiders, super mutants. One girl could only take so much. So when she’d heard about some guy with a contract that made him absolutely loyal to his employer, willing to lay down his life just to keep them breathing, she knew she had to find him. It was her final spark of hope. If she couldn’t take care of you, this was the next best thing.
Or: Charon puts the Lone Wanderer on suicide watch.
