Summary
A squeak came from the ground in front of Buck, and - sure enough - the gray-black rat he’d seen before was sitting in front of him, looking expectantly upwards.
“Bobby?” Buck gasped.
Squeak.
“I - I can’t understand you. If you’re trying to answer, all I’m hearing is squeaks.”
Dejected squeak. The rat looked downwards and shook its head.
“Um, shake your head yes and no, okay?” A nod, good. “Are you Bobby?”
Frantic squeaking. The rat - Bobby the rat nodded his head enthusiastically.
OR Bobby is reincarnated into a rat. It gets weirder.

Summary
“I didn’t truly believe in the fabled ding-dong ditchers of the river styx until you were right in front of me but at least I have the decency to believe my eyes.”
“I’m having a mental breakdown, it’s the only explanation for this.”
“You may be having a breakdown, but that doesn’t make this any less real. I’m giving you a chance, Eddie.”
“What?”
“I’m giving you a chance to make things right. You said you wanted to tell him you loved him, right?”
OR With Buck dying in the hospital after a call gone wrong, Eddie makes a deal with the devil so he can say the things he never did.

Summary
Isn't it sad that Pushing Daisies doesn't have more seasons? I think so. Anyway, here is my continuation of the series, including more character growth, which I included a new original character to help facilitate, and more character trauma, because unfortunately that's pretty much always where shows (not just this one) lead. I'll do my best to do right by the characters in the end, I think they all have things the show ended before they could work out.
