Steve followed his gaze, eyebrows raising slightly as the sky darkened.
“I dunno, ask Dustin.” He nudged Eddie before unlocking the Beemer. “It’s either science or some kinda omen, is my bet.”
“Christ, don’t say that.” Eddie tore his gaze from the sky, trying to suppress the feeling of foreboding lingering under his skin. “If something happens now, it’s your fault for jinxing it.”

In an alternate season 1, 17 year old 009!Eddie is the one to find Eleven in the woods while helping search for Will. After finding his sister he thought dead for years, he has to face everything he thought he'd escaped after running away during the massacre.

Summary
Xie Lian's last believer is so fervently devoted to him that he seems to think mostly in the form of prayer. That is a terrifying prospect. Xie Lian has never heard of such a case before, not even in hypotheticals, and he finds himself hoping, for his believer's sake, that there is some other explanation for this phenomenon.
Whatever the reason, a low stream of his believer's thoughts hum in the back of Xie Lian's consciousness.
His believer does not seem to be aware of it.

When Xie Lian ascends for the third time, he is welcomed back to godhood with prayers that he hadn't expected: an ongoing stream of thought from his sole remaining believer. He gathers quickly that this believer is very old, very powerful, and very, very much in love with him.
For his believer's sake, Xie Lian can cast a spell to shut the prayers out—but only if he has access to spiritual energy.

The first thing Susie asked was if she had to keep the posters up.
Kris looked over from where they were folding old soccer jerseys into a donation box. “You can take them down,” they said, even though Asriel had put them up with tape so strong it peeled the paint.
Susie stood there for a while, fingers in the pocket of her new hoodie. “Cool,” she muttered, and didn’t move.
It would take a long time for the room to stop feeling like it belonged to someone who wasn’t there.

After her mother passes away, Susie is placed in foster care—and Toriel, with one son away at college and another growing quiet in the space he left behind, takes her in. Kris doesn’t know her well. Not beyond the kid who used to sit behind them and chew her pencil into splinters. But now they’ll share a room, a house, and all the quiet leftover spaces that come with grief and growing up.
She gets Asriel’s side of the room.
And then, just as things begin to settle into a shape that might almost resemble home, someone else goes missing. This time, from Noelle’s house. Susie isn’t one to mind her business.
