“Rumi!”
The maknae maneuvers around the counter and runs up to Rumi, nearly knocking the taller woman down as she runs into her, wrapping her arms tightly around her.
Rumi tenses at first, finding the physical contact foreign. She hasn't been hugged—besides from last night—for a long time. With the exception of what happened in the limo, she can't remember the last time she was in this situation. The closest one was when Jinu grabbed her in the bathhouse but that wasn't really a hug. Even Celine wouldn't hug her when she begged for her to do what she should have done.
Rumi slowly relaxes into it, bringing her arms up to take Zoey into her arms. The more she relaxes, the more comforting the hug feels.
“I love you so much, Rumi. I'm sorry about everything. I want you to know how much you mean to me, to us.”
The tears that were threatening in her eyes now come pouring out of her as she squeezes Zoey so hard she squeaks.
Zoey squeezes her back tighter and Rumi realizes she does in fact like hugs, at least from Zoey. She rarely experienced it before and whenever she did, she was too worried about her patterns to enjoy it. But now? She wants to keep Zoey in her arms forever.

"She won't." Their mentor answered firmly. Mira groaned, her patterns flashing dangerous purple. "But we can't keep hiding from her." She protested. "Our patterns are growing, and I'm sick of lying to her."
Zoey had moved to Mira's side, proving her stance.
Being a half-demon wasn't something hard. Lying to their soulmate was hard, especially when Rumi cares for them so much.

When Rumi's patterns get revealed during a routine demon hunt, she doesn't wait for Mira and Zoey to kill her—she vanishes, ditching her electronics, bank accounts, anything that could be used to track her.

Summary
Celine taught the Huntrix girls how to ride motorcycles. Though they all are licensed to ride, it's only Mira who uses her motorbike on a regular basis.
Zoey pulled a prank on Celine while visiting the States, where she slapped a raunchy bumper sticker onto Celine's car that says 'If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair'. It was Mira that flustered Celine about that bumper sticker at a traffic light.
Mira decides to take Celine for a joyride on her motorcycle one night, hoping to mend the bridge between her mentor and herself. In hopes that Celine can learn to love again.
