There was a man in the corner of the room that Dean was pretty sure was the ghost of an old conquest – a businessman who had just been in town for the weekend, two years ago, who Dean had never even exchanged names with.
Dean could never, as long as he lived, forget how that man praised him as he beat his ass red. How he fucked him afterward, hard and fast but somehow gentle at the same time.
He watched as the the man stood and talked with every single patron in the bar, handing them something and shaking their hands before he moved on. What as he doing? It didn't make sense.
