Jeremy blows out a deep breath slowly and closes his eyes, remembering the doctor's words from earlier. “A distal radius fracture of the right wrist, along with a broken ring and pinky finger,” he rattles off. He can still see the eerie glowing images of his x-rays in his head—the horrible jutting twist of his bones versus the look of a normal wrist the doctor had held up for him in comparison.
The reminder makes his stomach turn.
