Summary
Max couldn't live in a world without Chloe. Not after everything she'd lived through that week with her. She knew there had to be another way in which she could save Chloe and Arcadia Bay.
Sacrifices were made. Tears were shed. Bonds were broken, but was it all worth it? Even if she had to become a different person, losing her sanity in the process.
Max saw things nobody should ever experience when she made sure no one would get hurt. She stayed close enough to keep on lookout but far away to avoid disrupting them, clearly it wasn't far enough.
Chloe and Rachel meet Max after a long time. They don't know what to think. She's so different from the little girl Chloe once knew. She wants to be angry, make Max feel how she felt after all those years of radio silence, yet she can't bring herself to hold the grudge when she's standing right in front of her.
