Summary
Jaskier and Geralt get interrupted in the middle of D/s encounter, and Geralt is not prepared for the fallout of that.

After an exceptionally efficient visit to the springs, Geralt returned to his room ready to offer a more thorough apology to his bard. Opening the door, however, Geralt was struck with an unfamiliar pang of panic as he took in the sight before him.
Jaskier was curled up on the floor next to the bed, still naked and not even cleaned up from earlier. His face was streaked with tears, old and new, and he hadn’t even removed the gag despite having the use of his hands to do so. His arms were wrapped around his bent legs, his shoulders curled inward in a way Geralt had never seen him do.
Geralt sped Witcher-fast to Jaskier, kneeling in front of him and dipping his head to meet Jaskier’s eyes. The bard blinked, looking as though he was about to reach out for Geralt but then stopped himself. In a voice so quiet it was even hard for Geralt to hear, Jaskier mumbled something through his gag. Quickly but gently, Geralt removed the silk.
“I didn’t mean to,” Jaskier whispered, his gaze unfocused.

Summary
The rules were pretty simple. Some poor sap was selected, without their knowledge, to be the target of the game. One of the guys would make sure that the target stayed around after dismissal, making up whatever lie they had to. Once the building was empty – not a challenge on a Friday afternoon – the hunt began. Whoever found the target first won, and the prize was right there for the taking; the winner could do whatever they wanted with the target.
Somewhere in Steve’s mind he recognized that the game was pretty fucked up. But Steve also got off on the rush of the game, the hunt, and the unbridled excitement he felt while they played. It made him feel like he was part of something.
That, more than anything, was the driving force for Steve to join this time. He’d spent so much of his senior year feeling socially adrift, but this was something he could truly be a part of.
Tying his shoelaces firmly on a bench outside the locker room, Steve nodded over at Tommy. “Who’d they get this time?”
Tommy smirked, his expression almost wistful. “Eddie.” -

Summary
In books and songs, there are always clues that warn the audience that a great tragedy is about to occur. A spot of blood against the clean floor. A broken window, perhaps, or a darkened home. Their hearts would race with anticipation only to gasps as the true horror unfolded.
For Jaskier, the tragedy looked like this:
Two bodies moving awkwardly off the tumbled bedspread.
Dark hair tumbling over shoulders bared by a shirt that was far too large for a woman’s body.
Familiar scars left behind by a life of war joined now by a deep bruise along one collarbone in the shape of a mouth.
Yellow eyes meeting his with agony marring their depths—too much emotion to belong to the man responsible for the way Jaskier’s chest seemed collapse around the shards of his broken heart.

Summary
For better or for worse (usually worse), Steve Rogers has been the most famous guy in the room for a while. And though newsreels have given way to YouTube, people's reactions haven't changed much in seventy-some years. Steve's become an expert at keeping his head down and getting on with his life.
A head-on collision on a busy street sends books flying and sweeps Steve off his feet. The point of impact has a name: James. A charming mess of long hair, thick glasses, and a crooked, not-quite-smile. If he recognizes Steve, he chooses not to comment, placing him firmly in Steve's good graces.
