The man reached out an elegant, ivory-colored finger and traced it down Will’s neck, stopping right against where his pulse fluttered. Will shivered at the sensation. The man pressed down on the pulse gently with the pad of his finger, then dragged the tip back up to Will’s jaw. He repeated the motion. Down the line of his neck. A gentle caress where his blood beat closest to the surface of his skin. Then back up. And down. Again. Again.
The touch sang through Will’s whole body, gooseflesh rising in its wake; he could not get away, no matter how he struggled. His heart pounded; his breathing grew labored. The sensations, on the verge of ticklishness, were both too much and not enough.
He wanted more, and he hated that he did.
