Summary
Will swallows down his fear and stares at the door unblinkingly. Kill the monster. Take the risk. Cast fireball. Shoot the gun.
Of course, he hadn’t expected it to come from behind him.
The light burns bright into his retinas. The whole room shakes, wood paneling nearly busting at the seams.
A rolled seven. An unrewarded risk.
The beast’s got him.

Summary
“You can go back inside, you know,” Mike finally says, after a few moments of silence. It’s a late leeway, because the selfish part of him that wants Will all to himself wants Will to stay here, say that he wouldn’t be anywhere else, to kiss him, to scoot a little closer and let him know he’s here. “I’m fine.”
“Okay,” Will replies, and makes no move to get up.
Mike squints at him, and Will turns away from the street to look back. He offers a grin. Mike squints harder, despite his own lips twitching into a smile.
Mike escapes a celebration party to drown in his own loneliness. Will joins him.

Summary
“I’m sorry,” Georgia says slowly, like she thinks she misheard him. “You said you’re… married?”
Amanda raises her eyebrows and taps something onto her keyboard. “That’s good to know, Mr. Zimmermann, but I’m sure you know that many of our players are married.”
“Right, but this is… different.” Jack says.
“Jack,” Georgia says, “Why did you never mention this before? Do I know your wife?”
“I’m sure you do,” Jack says carefully, “Only… it’s not a wife. It’s Kent Parson.”
...
(So what if they’re not pretending to be married. They’re still pretending to be happily married.)

Contrary to popular belief at the 118, Eddie isn’t stupid, okay. He knows exactly what he and Buck look like from the outside.
Or: Eddie muses at his goodbye dinner.

Summary
With an undone white bow tie, a half-done-up white tuxedo shirt, and hairpins scattering the floor, Monty sits in his star trailer far later than he should be on set. Looking like utter shit, he nurses a half-finished brandy and smokes a fag while his chest rises and falls heavily. Usually, he’d worry about people popping into his trailer when he’s in this state, with the thin scars on his chest scars apparent for all to see and his hair undone from the bun that keeps it tightly wound, but he’s in too sorry of a state to care. Today had been an utter mess. It was Debra’s fault, to be fair, for making a pig’s ear of everything and trying to steal his spotlight. Then there was the issue with the rigging of the fly rail for the big finale and one would think that if Hollywood had figured out the bloody musical movie with Meet Me in St. Louis amongst others, they’d be able to do it for him. But no. Why would it be that easy for him?
A Missing Scenes Fic about Monty having a depression spiral after the "What's he doing instead?"/"I'm afraid I cannot tell you, what I went on to do"/"Who Knows" interaction during "A Glitzy Finale"
