Summary
With Priestess Morgause and the powerful warlock Emrys at his side, King Cenred is set on conquering all of Albion. King Arthur is determined to keep Camelot safe from Essetir's power-hungry ruler. After sending Gwaine to infiltrate and investigate the enemy, Arthur manages to strike Cenred an unexpected blow by capturing Emrys, considered a war criminal of the worst kind. But Arthur and his knights soon get an inkling that Cenred's war sorcerer might not be as evil as they thought him to be. Summary
“I’m leaving.” Merlin says, because this situation already cost him his Duolingo streak, and he’s too tired to deal with Arthur when the food Gaius is serving him looks like it belongs on a list of war crimes committed by the Canadian soldiers.
“Where to?” His mentor asks, and Merlin shrugs, before going to his room and packing his bag.
“India. Gaius, I have decided I don’t give a damn, especially not when having to eat that bland food. I’ll be back in three months, make sure Arthur doesn’t die when I’m out.”
“Merlin!” And maybe, if he was younger and didn’t travel back to the past last month, he would’ve actually cared about the ‘eyebrow of disapproval’.
Or, a 1500yo Merlin gets zapped to the past during his vacation to Cuba. You’d think he’s happy to see Arthur again. He’s not.

Tears sprung to her eyes for the umpteenth time as she shakily breathed through the residual pain. Frustration gripped her chest once again.
God, she wouldn't even be in this mess, waking up from a drug-induced stupor if it hadn't been for her fucking boss. She couldn't do it anymore. Couldn't look him in the eyes and follow orders. If she got out of this place alive - out of the BAU alive - then she'd give him a piece of her mind. Finally tell him how much of a headache he was. Finally tell him how much she despised the way he pitied her with that stupid little frown on his face. She would not let him get out of it easy, no. She was going to force him to listen. Grab his annoying face, tell him just how she feels, and make sure he hears her.
Set after Season 7. Before she leaves the BAU. It follows the same general timeline as the show, but liberties were taken with the timing and details.
