Izuku and Bakugo parted ways after middle school and Izuku didn't go to UA. He has a telekinesis quirk and ends up joining the military when he graduates. Military Izuku who then becomes sort of mercenary Izuku. He eventually gets hired to work as a bodyguard for the last man he ever expected to interact with again. DUH DUH DUH!!!!

Summary
Izuku Midoriya freaks out a lot. But this is a whole new level of freak out he wasn’t even previously sure was possible. Eraserhead, the Eraserhead had responded to his email!
He wasn’t expecting to get a response! He was just entertaining himself by browsing case files and thought he might as well share his findings so that he could at least pretend he’d done something. Helped someone.
He had never expected anyone to actually care.
But now that his favorite hero had seen his message it made sense. Of course, the man would care. Izuku knew his identity! His analysis wasn’t great, but even so, it must’ve freaked the man out when he realized some random guy knew his faculty email. Shit.
So now Izuku’s managed to piss off his favorite hero and he probably thinks he’s a criminal.
He’s really freaking out.

What the author forgot to say earlier is that there was another, rather major adjustment, that allowed the quirkless population to live this long.
The quirkless were extremely protective of what was theirs.
Also, they were completely feral.

OR: 20% of the world population does not have a special ability, a quirk. 7% of Japan's entire population is quirkless. As expected, their lives are hard, so they had to adjust to survive. Izuku, even though now no longer quirkless, has still spent 14 years as one of them, and thus, has adjusted well.
