Summary
One month after Johnny disappeared into the net, V receives a lead that could bring him back to her. She soon finds out that Johnny's body is part of a corpo scheme much bigger than she could have anticipated, getting them both re-entangled with Arasaka, the FIA, and a suspiciously low-profile megacorp. V feels as if she has spent the first three years of her adult life trying to get into the corp's web, and the last three years trying to get the hell out.

V found herself on the roof, with Johnny sitting by her side. Their gaze was fixated on the luminescent glow of the Secure Your Soul advertisement in the towering building before them.
"So, what will it be?" Johnny's voice broke the silence. After everything they went through, V was able to notice the small jitters of anxiousness as he waited for her decision.
But V doesn't remember the answer she gave. Instead, she found herself jolted awake in her former apartemnt - her very old apartment, one she had while working for Arasaka's counterintelligence.
Was it all just a dream? A warning? An opportunity?
