So...it's another time travel Naruto story...
Anyway...
The future sucked ass. They watched all their loved ones get horrifically murdered by a psychopathic rabbit moon witch, who then turned the world into a dried-out grape(which is a raisin if you didn't know, you heathens) by sucking all the chakra out of it. Of course, they kicked her butt into another moon(that had been fun) but the world was still fucked. So with nothing left to do and nothing left to look forward to, Team 7 (minus Kakashi -rip man, fly high!) decided to look back, as in travel back into the past.
They had trauma!
They had anger issues!
They looked like dead people!
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are going to fuck up the past so bad that the future is going to look like a paradise!

This is a beautiful work of art. A dedication to all the little boys and girls who have lived and felt like this throughout their lives. Peter coming back from the Snap, having no tome to acclimate or to come to terms with what he lost, was so heartbreaking. Watching helplessly as things changed around you while desperately wishing for some form of normalcy. When your life is spiraling and you try to cling to some semblance of control as it's being actively taken away is...hopelessly devastating. It's draining.
I emphasize with Peter so much its crazy. His relationship with Tony and the way the hurt built up beneath the love and hope and wonder until it all eventually tore Peter open at the seams.
The final chapter is catharsis at this finest. Being able to let go of all that pain after desperately pushing it down for so long. It's all the things I wished I would have said to my own father.
