Summary
This disease, it tastes like bloody petals. It tastes like spires in his heart and daggers in his throat. It tastes like a love he despises himself for holding.
And yet the man he suffers this love for is the sun, and so the flowers grow, and grow.

Canon compliant (as best I can before 1.3 anyways) with a side of Hanahaki

Summary
“Intra-Cognition is null. Responds only to destructive stimuli.”
The sentence barely registers in Mydei’s mind as he stares at the shadow of the man who was once Phainon, who sits completely still in a chair, dull eyes staring sightlessly ahead.
“Damage to mind function detected… Possibly irreversible…”
The Antikytheran-like man continues reading through the digitized logs impartially, as if merely reciting a speech. But every single word he says drives another stake into Mydei’s heart.
Mydeimos the Undying scarcely bowed his head, rarely lowered himself onto his knees, and never, ever begged. And yet he finds himself doing all three things now, before the broken shell of Phainon, who is very much alive, and yet lacking all of the life that made him him.
---
Irontomb’s birth is prevented, and Amphoreus is saved. But it’s at great cost to Phainon, whose psyche finally crumbled under the devastating damage to his mind, body, and heart.
But Mydei and the other Chrysos Heirs will not accept this outcome. For what is a dawn without the sun?

Summary
Phainon sighs and shakes his head, gathering his class materials, meticulously arranging them into their desginated spots in his school bag before he attempts to leave the classroom. It would be better to wait, perhaps, until he graduated — until he could make his own appointment and no one would be any the wiser — "Phainon!"
Phainon wants to make a change to himself. He finally works up the courage to ask his Professor for help.

Summary
“Three sessions.” Khaslana says at least, with his empty doll eyes under the shadow of the trees, he looks more like a ghost than ever. “I give you three sessions. If you don’t get to paint something I like, I leave.”
“Hm, you really think I can’t.”
“I know you can’t.”
How terribly arrogant. Mydei grins, wild and prideful, heart thumping with what might be either adrenaline or anger. “Three sessions.” He agrees.
They say whoever attempts to make a muse out of Khaslana goes mad. Mydei thinks that’s fine. He wants less of a muse than he likes a challenge. Somewhere along the way, he falls in love.
