This was all just pretense anyway. The image Wei Ying was disparaging in the mirror wasn’t the real issue.
The thing that was really upsetting Wei Ying was the fact he’d come back as an Omega.
And a dysfunctional one at that.Wei Wuxian is resurrected into Mo Xuanyu's badly mistreated and malnourished OMEGA body with all the drives and desires that go with it. Except he was an Alpha in his former life, and that isn't sitting well with him. He's not sure he can reconcile the two battling wills inside him, and even if he does, it won't solve the problem of this dysfunctional body he's been bequeathed and the fact that it can't go into heat or give them the children Wei Wuxian is so desperate to have.
