Vergil walked back into Dante’s life the same way he did everything else; without a care for how it might effect anyone but himself. But that also meant Vergil was back, and Dante was prepared to do just about anything to keep him there. Anything, of course, other than ask him to stay.

Summary
Miyuki Kazuya would have preferred it if you had told him Sawamura Eijun was sick and dying. Sure it would be terrible to watch the southpaw slowly deteriorate but at least Miyuki would have had the time to process the fact that the loudmouthed pitcher was going to die; at least he would have had the chance to properly say goodbye.
