Alex is not obsessed with Red White and Royal Blue, no matter what June says. He has only read the book fourteen times and watched the movie just a little over thirty times. Sure, he spends most of his free time either reading fanfiction or writing fanfiction, and has a fan account on Twitter dedicated to the movie with the handle ‘dollarstoreFSOTUS’. But he is NOT obsessed.
He just adores Gabriel and James's love and consumes/creates as much as fan work as he can. The fact that he falls for the biggest writer in the fandom is just a tiny little nuisance.
