Summary
Society experimented a big change after a war. A few crazed scientists tried to achieve the perfect mix of human nature and animal instinct, a project to boost population after one third of the population was wiped out. As one by one the scientists disappeared, their victims had to pay the consequences of their lack of responsibility.
Families of victims freed from the dreadful laboratories try to survive in the indifferent society, some may make it, some may not.
Years after, a couple of long lost friends reunite just to find out they were perfect for each other. As leftover jigsaw pieces, they will find a way to fit in, or make their own puzzle. -

Wriothesley grabbed onto his shoulders and exclaimed with a voice full of panic; “Neuvillette! What’s going on?!”
This time, Neuvillette couldn’t stop the whimper that escaped his lips, but the embarrassing sound wasn’t caused by the pain he felt but because of the sensation of Wriothesley’s warm hands holding him. He had to stop the desire to lean into the duke, to be wrapped in his embrace. He couldn’t believe he was having these inappropriate urges right now. It had never happened to him before, and it was terrifying.
“I... I don't know what's happening to me,” said the Iudex, pain lacing his voice.
“Guards!!” yelled Wriothesley, loud enough to be heard from outside his office.
