Summary
4 girls who have family ties with stronger alliances than many would presume. 4 ‘houses’ that have held immense amounts of power throughout the ages, legacies extending beyond recognition. The House of Cheng with influence of China, the House of Volkov-Raincomprix with Russian influence, the House of Toussaint-Bourgeois with power over France, and finally, the well known Tsurugi house of Japanese power.
The 4 have kept hidden, relatively successfully. Of course, there are always a few who find out, but the one rule of their alliance is ‘no loose ends’. A hit is placed, and is carried out with precision. However, an interference begins to show. A young Italian girl, claiming to be of same status as their court, the Sovereign Veil. When the relations begin to strain, the court decides to take action, and make an example out of this girl. The heiresses to the empires begin their reign, and with the gifts of the Miraculous and an interesting turn of events, the Sovereign Veil takes Paris and the world by storm. It all starts with a phone call.
