Tony Stark saw the end. He saw the multiverse unravel, he saw everyone he loved die. The snap, the infinity stones, he saw everything. His eyes had never been so clear. Here he was, cursed with knowledge once again. When would the world stop needing him to stay?
Tony could’ve gone to Strange. Could’ve asked for help. But he didn’t. The problem wasn’t magic, wasn’t time, wasn’t even the multiverse.
It was him.
And the only thing worse than a broken world is a world still trying to be saved by a broken Stark.

The darkest thing I’ve read to date. I don’t know if trauma on a page can translate to real life trauma but I know that can’t stop thinking about this fic, awake, asleep… dunno whether to cry scream or laugh. Amazingly written. Probably will never reread but keeping it tucked safe just in case I get curious again. Take this as a warning… this isn’t angst, this a psychological horror story that will live in your brain. Fun fact: I threw up reading this.
