Claire had thought that she would never see him again, and she had come to accept that, as painful and awful as it was. After so long, she had even come to think that Mitchell could be dead.

Summary
in which I look at the lack of MOFY fanfictions that aren't incest and say "fine, I'll do it myself"
Disclaimer: these stories show a healthy dynamic/relationship between Mitchell and Cameron. In the series, their relationship becomes noticeably toxic as the show progresses, particularly through Cam's victimization of himself and manipulator tactics. I do not condone Cam's behavior in any way, but I am choosing to rewrite his character in my writing so that the toxic and negative aspects of him are minimized as much as possible in order to create a healthier relationship in my stories.
